Botanical dye, Monotypes & Artists Books (2020-present)With the beginning of COVID-19 changes I find myself experimenting with natural dyes and leaf prints. In some cases these were the beginning layer of prints or book forms. This has been a time of introspection, an intimate look at my daily life, weather, environment, political and the creatures I coexist with. Some botanical pieces feel complete within the one process, others become a layer of a multi layered existence and yet others become folded and combined in intimate book forms.

Watercolor MonotypesThese are all water media prints. There is often a enough color still on the plate for a strong ghost print.

Monoprints
These are prints with collage effects, stencils, silk collagraph, pronto plate, polymer plates and/or lino cut substrates that are always part of the print. Each inking is different.
